5Functional and AttractiveApr 12, 2010
By Debra
I ordered this dryer as a replacement for a very old, painted wooden model that looked tacky and was falling apart. I looked at several options, but chose this one because it appeared that it would be interesting in appearance and because of its small footprint, which is very important in my counter top-challenged kitchen. By adjusting the branches, I can spread them far enough apart to enable bags placed across 2 of them to dry reasonably well. While I think the clips could come in handy, I can't see using them for bags because I can't imagine how the inside would ever dry. I do like the appearance; it's almost artsy, and the marble base and shiny branches are classy. The footprint was actually smaller than that of the dryer I was replacing, which was a plus, My one negative about the product, however, is that the classy marble base would benefit from having something non-slip added to the bottom, as it tends to move around a bit too easily on my formica countertops. That said, for my purposes and taste, I would definitely order it again.

4Better Than My Last OneMar 30, 2010

I like this bag dryer better than the last one I had, which was wooden and warped over time because of how wet it got. I also like the marble base that keeps it balanced a little better. The telescoping arms are handy, because it shrinks to a smaller size for storage. That being said, it doesn't really work for drying 8 bags as well as I had hoped. Because the arms the clips are on are so short, even a regular sized sandwich bag tends to bend in half when attached by a clip, taking much longer to dry. My reuseable Lunchskins bags are thicker, so they can stand up on their own a little better, and I can get 6 or 8 on this dryer at once. Even if it doesn't quite live up to it's advertised hyphe, I still recommend it as a sturdy product that I hope will last a long time.

5Great Little Kitchen GadgetFeb 21, 2010
By WonderWoman "Catmom"
I bought one of these from Amazon after buying several of the wooden ones (which I do love), to dry my bags on. I bought this one because it's the only one with clips - and the elasticated soft covers (like a shower cap) I put over leftover dishes don't hold on so well on the wooden dowels but these clips ensure they stay in place. I LOVE the fact that it is telescoping, and the base is marble so it sits perfectly but has a 'small footprint'. Highly recommended if you reuse your baggies/elasticated covers. I plan on adding a 2d one.

3Great but not perfectJan 17, 2011
By Andrea Scolar "cookbook vixen"
I purchased this exact model about 2 years ago at a local store. I liked the design and the functionality. It worked great until the bases of the arms started corroding, and the arms started breaking off one by one. Now, 2 years later I'm down to one arm. I still like it and probably will buy it again because I like to wash & re-use my plastic bags, and this worked for me really good. But I will make sure to dry it well between uses.

3Not ready for my kitchenJul 30, 2011

So, I've had the bag dryer for a few months - liked it so much I bought one for my daughter. After some use, the pins are breaking free from the base. There's no evidence of corrosion and I'm fairly ginger with its use. It comes with four telescoping pins that operate like an antenna - that mechanism works fine, it's snapping at the base - great idea, poor execution - wouldn't purchase again and will try and get my money back for both.
