5wonderful!Jan 08, 2007

We bought this item for my boyfriend's parents, who have a tradition of poaching eggs every Christmas morning. In years past there has always been a struggle to cook perfectly poached eggs for a group. This poacher was quick, easy, and resulted in perfectly done eggs with little need for skill!

2Good in theory...Mar 08, 2009
By Layla Krog
I loved that this poacher has six spots, since others seemed to have fewer. The construction of the pan and lid is great. However, the non-stick coating in the egg cups began to peel after just a few uses, and now eggs either stick in the cups or come out with flecks of black coating. I'm very disappointed in the lack of durability.

EDITED:
After writing this review, I decided to email RSVP International's customer service address to inquire about how to replace damaged egg cups. I emailed on Sunday night, and by 12:30 Monday morning, I received an answer requesting my address so they could mail me replacements. This kind of customer service is sadly lacking in so many companies. I am happy to own and recommend this product, based on their willingness to be of such thorough assistance. I wish I could add stars back to my review. While I am still disappointed that the original cups were not more durable, I am so thrilled with the customer service I received that I would now rate the product much more highly.

5Love itJul 12, 2008
By Almost 60 - woman driver!
We have a family tradition of making eggs benedict for holiday breakfasts. We have to make 12 eggs and we have never had a poacher do such a good job.

This 6 egg poacher makes PERFECT eggs.

1Didn't hold upApr 26, 2009
By S. Dodge
This seemed like the best egg poacher and I loved the 6 egg cups. I noticed the first sign of trouble when I left the water in the pan. The next morning I discovered little orange rust-like streaks in the bottom of the pan. My other stainless steel pans have never done this when leaving water in them to soak. I made sure after that to immediately pour the water out after use. I continued to use it thinking everything was fine as long as I never left water in it, but as time went by I noticed the bottom of the pan was bulging. I expected stainless steel to hold up better than that. (I purchased it Aug 2008, and noticed the bulging on the bottom of the pan Jan 2009). I've had my other stainless steel cookware for many years with no trouble at all.

1A Disaster....Jan 21, 2009
By Andrew I. Munro Sr.
This Poacher looked like the best and turned out to be the worst.
Eggs stick in the cups whether you use oil, butter or spray. This causes the eggs to break when you remove them plus it's a nightmare to then clean the cups. I wish I could return mine, but as it was a Xmas gift, I am passed the return period.
Don't waste your money.
